How early should I get to the airport for a domestic flight?

Sydney’s domestic terminal is small and easy to navigate, but you should make sure you leave yourself enough time as there may be unexpected delays. The last thing you want is to miss your flight!

If you are travelling with hand-luggage only, make sure you arrive at the Domestic terminal at least one-hour prior to departure. If you are checking in bags, arrive two hours prior to departure.

Park & Fly is minutes away from Sydney’s domestic terminal – we recommend allowing around 20-minutes to get checked in and taken to the airport. Whilst it will rarely take this long, this means we can take into account unexpected delays.

How early should I get to the airport for an international flight?

The process of checking in for an international flight tends to be more complex, as you are more likely to be checking in a larger bag. So, in these cases, we recommend arriving at the international terminal 2-hours before your flight departs.

The international terminal is slightly further away from Park & Fly, so we recommend allowing 30-minutes extra. This is to ensure you arrive at the terminal with plenty of time spare – there’s nothing worse than rushing!

If you’re travelling in a peak holiday period, such as Christmas or Easter, then we suggest leaving extra time to get through security, in case of higher footfall throughout the airport. We also recommend checking in online prior to your flight, as that can reduce waiting time at the airport too.

Our courtesy shuttle service operates on demand, ensuring a quick and seamless transfer between our secure car park and your terminal. Whether you're flying domestic or international, you can relax knowing you're only moments away from check-in.

Yes and yes! When you arrive, simply park in one of our ground floor drop-off bays on the right hand side. Gather your luggage, lock your car and make your way to the check-in desk. We will take your keys and give you a check-in ticket, and one of our many on-demand shuttles will take you to the terminal. Our careful drivers will park your car for you in a bay on one of our higher, covered levels.

Airline companies recommend at least an hour for domestic and 2-hours for international flights depending on the airline. Park & Fly advises customers to allow an additional 20-minutes for check-in at Park & Fly and drop off at the terminals. This is worst case scenario in case of traffic hold-ups or other unexpected delays.

Your vehicle will be kept onsite at our covered and secure multi-story car park. Drop it off on the ground floors and our drivers will carefully park your vehicle on another level of the carpark.

Yes, Park & Fly can only accommodate vehicles 2 metres or less in height in our undercover carpark, including any aerials and / or roof racks. We do have an option for taller vehicles (please call our office line  02 8335 4714 for details).

You don’t have to make a booking but it is recommended you reserve a spot at Park & Fly to avoid disappointment. Due to the demand for airport parking in Sydney, there are times when our carpark is full and only those with bookings will be able to park. If you arrive without a booking and we do have space, you will need to pay the drive-in rate.
